Do you know this song? Do you know that it is true… everybody
talks. And faculty talks to me.
In a recent conversation it was shared that a faculty member
believes that several of his/her students to have found the answers to
their homework on-line. It is further believed, that these students copied the
answer verbatim. This is your ONE AND ONLY reminder of the Honor Code. Should
this type of conversation come up again, I will take names.

- Become a member of Materials Advantage Website by going to www.materialadvantage.org/membership. Membership fee is $30 with a $5 rebate to MEPS at Virginia Tech. It will look good on your resume to indicate you are a member of a professional society.

- Get involved with creating the MSE mural or the new MSE T-Shirts by contacting Alexandra Egert alexe09@vt.edu.
- A new Biomaterials Society is forming. To join please contact Chris Rowland rowdievt@vt.edu.
- MEPS has been raising funds by selling sodas in the Holden Hall Mail room. Please continue to drink up.
- MSE is trying to start a relationship with Dominion Metallurgical. If you are interested in foundry work please contact Mary Seals mary.seals@vt.edu. Mary is also trying to set up a resume booklet. If you would like to be a part of the booklet send your resume to Mary. In addition, she has information about scholarship opportunities that often times go unclaimed.
- The traditional tailgate will be this Saturday before the Bowling Green game. Free food (bagels, cream cheese, and doughnuts) starting at 9am on the Holden lawn.
