Falling on Deaf Ears

The past week I have been a bit absent from the office and I apologize for that. We have a family matter that is very pressing. Unfortunately, we do not expect things to improve much. As such, I may be out of the office from time to time. I will do my best to notify everyone in advance. Thank you for your understanding.

As I said, I’ve been out a bit and it was the craziest week for me. Last Saturday I celebrated a 21^st birthday with a family member then I spent Sunday in the hospital with an elderly family member. This past week, I have been on both sides of the spectrum.  

I’m going to share this with you, but I know at your age, it is going to go in one ear and out the other. Do not take anything for granted, life is short and you should live it to the fullest, don’t be afraid to make mistakes or take chances, do what makes you happy, and most importantly hold on to those that you love.

Snow Ice Cream
1 cup milk
1 egg, well beaten
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
clean snow
Beat egg; add milk, sugar and salt. Mix together well. Add enough snow to make it thick.
