This could be my most favorite week ever. This is
the week that I get joy from a game I brought to Materials Science and
Engineering 3 years ago – and it’s back again this year by scary demand. You
guessed it …. It’s time for our annual Candy Corn Guessing Game! Stop by my office this week and take your best
guess at how many candy corns are in the container. Rules: take your best
guess, no weighing, no measuring of any kind, and closest without going over
wins. In addition to bragging rights there is a prize that will be awarded next
Monday.
MSE is bring you the first MSE Career Advising Luncheon on Friday, November 14 from 12-1 in
North End Center. Dr. Whittington and Dr. GQ Lu will discuss and answer
questions related to their respected fields. Please mark your calendar and look for more
details to come soon.
Don’t
worry if you cannot course request a needed MSE class at this time. We will get
you in the MSE class after your receive your class schedule.

your picture taken this Thursday (9-5) or Friday (9-4) in 324 McBryde. When you
arrive for your picture be sure to tell them you are there for a MSE make-up
picture.
