Planning, a must

Planning is one of the most important things we all do. I know some people think they can get away without planning.  These people are in charge of the road construction near the New River Valley Mall. Their lack of planning is a major pain! I cannot tell you how many times they have paved an area only to dig it up; actually I can – 4 times! The most recent is the worst and will be their legacy they leave with the citizens of the area.

About 3 weeks ago they paved the road at the intersection of the mall and Wal-Mart nearest the train track. The very next day they dug up a 6x6 area around the manhole to complete utility work underground. When they repaired road they created this pitcher’s mound of asphalt (if you will) in the middle of the intersection.

Due to their lack of planning the citizens of the area will have to traverse over this mound forever; totally running havoc on our cars.

You however are not going to have a problem with planning as we are going to plan your spring term during our course request meeting this week. (see what I did there!) This is your reminder that we have required meetings during course request …. Please schedule your meeting in Scholar today. Wednesday I will hold after hours walk-in hours. Please: everyone will be seen in order of sign in & you must be signed in by 6pm.
